Liturgy Training Publications is seeking an Editor and Liturgical Training Consultant to research, analyze and collaborate on new ideas and products for LTP. This individual must have a strong background in Catholic liturgy and catechesis, with a broad knowledge of the current Catholic marketplace.
The candidate will serve as a resource to other editors and the marketing department by identifying potential authors and strengthening relationships with worship offices and other diocesan offices to determine their needs.
This position will represent LTP by presenting workshops and other presentations that tie to the resources offered by LTP. The candidate will work closely with the Media and Events Department in the development of new offerings.
As an editor, this position will have the opportunity to edit manuscripts and ancillary products, following the standards and guidelines set by LTP. This position is a member of the Editorial team, working with the team to achieve department goals.

Experience Required: A Master’s degree in Divinity or Liturgy along with experience working with the areas of catechesis and liturgy. Public speaking and experience creating and presenting workshops. Editorial experience in preparing manuscripts for submission.
Additional Requirements: A knowledge of current issues related to Catholic liturgy and catechesis. Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate with others to develop and new products. Weekend and evening availability to participate in workshops and represent the organization. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative Suite. Bilingual is a plus
