PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Divine Worship Director is responsible for equipping and supporting the liturgical and sacramental life of parishes of the Diocese of Green Bay and forming liturgical leaders who love Jesus and life His mission. In fostering a culture of missionary discipleship through the liturgical and sacramental life of the Catholic Church, the Divine Worship Director will serve the parishes by providing liturgical and sacramental Diocesan consultation, formation, resources and outreach within the Diocese.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Master’s degree in liturgy, liturgical ministry/studies, liturgical/sacred music, or related area required.
  • Combination of relevant experience and education will be considered.
    Must be people oriented, have a relational approach to problem solving, be approachable and accessible to diocesan and parish staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, social media and strong administrative skills.
  • Must also have strategic, critical, and analytical thinking, have solid decision-making skills, program development, interpersonal communication, good planning and budgeting skills and experience.
  • Ability to be creative, organized, detail-oriented, and dependable.
  • Ability to be outgoing and comfortable meeting new people.
  • Both independent/self-motivated and collaborative.

PREFERRED:

  • Servant leadership coupled with strong verbal/communications skills.
