Pastoral Associate/Director of Liturgy (St. Barnabas Parish, Chicago, IL)

At St. Barnabas, we see God in all people. We strive to be the parish where people feel a deep sense of welcome, love, and unconditional belonging; where parishioners are accompanied on their individual faith journey in a community built on radical hospitality.

We seek a dynamic Pastoral Associate/Director of Liturgy who can bring
vision and leadership to the life of the parish, planning vibrant and
meaningful liturgies & programming in partnership with our pastor, staff, volunteers, and lay leaders.

St. Barnabas recognizes the importance of liturgy in sustaining our
parishioners and leading them to full, conscious, and active participation in
the Church. St. Barnabas is proud of our world class music ministry led by
Sandro Tsomaia. Sandro, along with our numerous cantors, instrumentalists,
and the adult and children’s choirs, are excited to assist the new Pastoral Associate in creating meaningful celebrations of faith.

St. Barnabas is a strong, diverse parish with a thriving school. The parish
serves more than 1500 registered families; and, our school, expanded and modernized in 2021, is home to 500 students.
