St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Coordinator of Liturgy and Sacraments. This parish of 5700 households has a full-time Director of Liturgy and Music and seeks someone as a full-time associate to implement the liturgical vision of the parish steeped in a post-conciliar worldview. This person collaborates with the director in recruiting, forming, managing, and evaluating all liturgical ministers, oversees the formation process for the sacraments of Matrimony and Infant Baptism, and is intimately involved in the planning and celebration of all weekend liturgies and major liturgical feasts.

The successful applicant is a practicing Catholic in good standing, possesses knowledge of the liturgical and sacramental theology of the Church as defined by Sacrosanctum Concilium and post-conciliar documents, has experience training liturgical ministers, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a minimum of 2 years of coordinating parish liturgical life. A degree in theology, religious studies, pastoral ministry, or related field is preferred.
