Coordinator of Liturgy and Sacraments (St. Francis of Assisi Church; Raleigh, NC)

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, an award winning and nationally recognized community of over 5000 households, has an immediate opening for a Coordinator of Liturgy and Sacraments.  The Coordinator of Liturgy and Sacraments recruits, forms, and manages volunteers to serve at all parish liturgies and sacramental celebrations ensuring systems are in place for the ongoing performance of sacramental celebrations and rituals.  This position directly oversees the wedding and baptismal preparation and sacramental celebrations, and requires weekend and some evening work.  This position collaborates with the pastoral staff of 25 in building on the parish’s longstanding history of bringing baptismal and ministerial priesthood together in the collaborative vision of Vatican II.
