Director of Music and Liturgy (St. Hilary Parish; Fairlawn, OH)

St Hilary Parish (Roman Catholic) in Fairlawn, Ohio (West Akron) is seeking a Full Time Director of Music and Liturgy. We are a vibrant parish of 2,900 families with over 100 ministries! The Director of Music and Liturgy must be proficient in Piano, Organ, and Choral Conducting.  The Director is responsible for planning music for 3 weekend Masses, playing for the 4pm Saturday Mass, and conducting the 11am Mass Choir, and playing at Funerals and Weddings.  The director also practices with cantors for other Masses and leads the Liturgy Planning Committee (three meetings per year) which consists of parishioners who lead the Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, and Art and Environment ministries.  This is a full-time position with great salary and benefits. The Director also has access to funds from the Parish Foundation for special events and musicians during the Christmas and Easter seasons.
