The Secretariat of Divine Worship and the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions will co-sponsor two, 75-minute webinars on The Divine Office Hymnal on Thursdays, October 19 and 26 at 1:00PM Eastern time.
The first webinar will feature a theological and liturgical background on the hymns as found in the Liturgy of the Hours. It will feature Rev. Andrew Wadsworth of ICEL, Fr. Dustin Dought, and Rita Thiron. The second part will be a demonstration of the chant and melodic settings — as found in the hymnal — with artists from GIA Publications, Inc.
