Sacrosanctum Concilium 60th Anniversary Prayer Service

To mark the sixtieth anniversary of the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy (December 4, 1963 to 2023), the FDLC has prepared a prayer service. It quotes heavily from the Constitution itself, even the intercessory prayers draw from the language of the Sacrosanctum Concilium.

Under the direction of the Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, the director assists the Bishop in his role as “chief steward of the mysteries of God and the overseer, promoter, and guardian of the liturgical life” of the Church in Cleveland.

Prayers for the Synod

On September 14, the Holy See released prayers for the opening of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops (October 4, 2023).

The coordinator’s principal responsibility is the formation and preparation of liturgical ministers and liturgical committees, specifically, as the coordinator of the work of the Diocesan Worship Commission.

Assistant Secretary for Pastoral Ministry and Social Concerns (Archdiocese of Washington, DC)

The Assistant Secretary for Pastoral Ministry assists the Secretary of Pastoral Ministry and Social Concerns in the implementation of all archdiocesan initiatives focused on discipleship.  The Assistant Secretary will supervise the discipleship work team in PMSC, which includes the Offices of Campus Ministry and Young Adults, Family Life, and CYO Inc.
