Liturgy Preparation Aid

Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

June 19, 2022

On June 19, 2022, the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) launches a Eucharistic Revival initiative. Over the next several years, the dioceses of the USA will recommit ourselves to our Eucharistic identity and will reaffirm our faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

We believe that the best way to increase faith in the eucharist is the full and authentic celebration of the Mass – the source and summit of our faith (Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, 10). Adoration of the Eucharist flows from the Mass and leads us back to it.

This booklet will be the first of many resources, website postings, and formation opportunities which the Federation will prepare for you in the coming years. We also encourage you to examine the many popular FDLC books and bulletin articles on the Mass (in English and Spanish) which are already available here.
