The Director of the Office of Divine Worship serves as the diocesan resource for the celebration and formation of the Sacred Liturgy, implementing the universal and diocesan norms of the Church while supporting the pastoral priorities of the Bishop of Providence. The Director coordinates major diocesan liturgies, provides guidance and formation to clergy and parish leaders, and promotes excellence in liturgical celebration throughout the Diocese. This position works closely with the Bishop, diocesan offices, parishes, and the Cathedral community to ensure the reverent and prayerful celebration of the Church’s liturgical life.
